Cowboys & Mutants expands on the Alamex and New Rome Terrirories and untamed lands along The Nether border. This is the fourth Dystopian Dawn RPG source and adventure book in a series of six. It introduces new settlments, farms, ranches, tribes, buried ruins, and hidden fallout shelters scattered across the southwest region. It also includes new creatures, new skills, new gear, magical items, grimoires, and High-Tech Gear... along with a bucketload of adventures!

A warm breeze drifts over withering crops as a blackened tumbleweed rolls across the backdrop of a decrepit farm, bringing the scent of death in its wake. The broken moon gently fades behind the Alamex mountain range leaving behind a dark shadow… like a distant memory.

Darkened cracked dunes would soon reflect waves of heat as the blood orange sun creeps across the earth’s carcass bathing all in its haze. Its light never fully piercing the dark clouds as perpetual reddened skies blanket the wasteland.

In the hottest summer months that any living soul can recall, tensions across the prairies are reaching a proverbial boiling point. As if unforeseen droughts, cattle rustling, road bandits, brutal savages, and a bizarre pestilence weren’t enough, rumors abound of mad scientists, buried artifacts, renegade legionnaires, and monstrous hordes amassing at the borders.

The signs were clear. Chaos was coming for Hellgate. In the middle of this maelstrom stands the heart of the earth – ranchers, farmers, honest folk just struggling to survive against the ravages of the wasteland. All of them now wondering if justice had forsaken them.

This was only the beginning. When the smoke clears and the blood dries, where will you stand?
